The circuit proposes a journey to discover the various aspects through which industrial automation has featured and launched, at an international level, significant companies, thanks to the applied productive modes and to the different innovative and highly technological types of products. The journey takes place between the provinces of Torino, Novara and Vercelli, in industrial areas and contexts which are particularly diversified.
We start from Prima Industrie, a world leader company in the production of machines, which exploit the efficiency offered by laser technology, to DMA, a company producing control and monitoring systems for the railways, exported all over the world; we continue with Electronic System, a world excellence in the production of systems for measuring and testing cycles for control and automation, and then to Industrie Toscanini, a company which has combined tradition to automatic production systems and which has brought quality to a relatively poor type of product, and finally Nova Siria, a leader company in the production of special plumbing using advanced technologies.  
In particular, the circuit is addressed to local development operators, entrepreneurs, managers, operational directors, line and production managers, wishing to confront with local realities which have been able, through research and development, to apply and diffuse new technologies, within the framework of a solid industrial tradition. The circuit lasts three days.

PRIMA INDUSTRIE: guides a group of leader companies in the development, production and commercialisation of laser systems for industrial applications and machines for plate processing, along with industrial electronics and laser sources. The Group consists of more than 1.600 employees in Italy, China and the USA, and is organised in two Divisions:
- Prima Power, developing, producing and commercialising 2D and 3D laser machines and for plate processing, laser piercing systems, punch machines and combined systems, folding and panelling machines.
- Prima Electro, developing, producing and commercialising embedded electronics, motion control and CNC, high power laser sources.    

DMA S.R.L.: creates solutions which help the managers of railway networks (light, heavy and high-speed lines) to carry out monitoring and control systems, which enable the improvement of the performances and of the safety conditions. They use the wide knowledge of each type of railway to design innovative, reliable and long-lasting products. The capability and global skills of DMA, enable them to identify and quickly apply optimal solutions: a few days for simple systems and an average of two weeks for multifunctional vehicles. DMA solutions contribute to protect and optimise the infrastructures of some of the most important and busiest railway networks in the world, of minor networks and light railways

ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS: is a world leader in the production of systems for measuring and testing cycles for control and automation. The modern technologies created by the R&D department have led to innovative patents for measuring systems, using Beta sensors and for measuring the air thickness. The measuring systems applied in the production cycles of plastic-rubber are considered unique in the world. The company quality policy has led to the ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System certification. 

INDUSTRIE TOSCANINI S.R.L. SOC. UNIP.  The history of Toscanini is that of a family business dating back to more than 100 years ago, which talks about an asset passing from father to son and of a passion which always finds new ways to express itself, generation after generation. Since the 1920s, Toscanini has produced wooden coat hangers, objects combining functionality and design, typical of the Made in Italy. Throughout the years, the shapes have been refined and perfectioned, the range of materials has become wider and now also includes precious essences and plexiglass; the details have acquired value and now result in ergonomic, personalised and refined solutions.

NOVA SIRIA is considered a unique company in its sector and has been a leader in the design and made-to-measure production of joints and components for pressure conduits of aqueducts, gas and oil pipelines, and industrial plants for more than 80 years. The immediate availability of all products and the wide range of production enable to reply to any need in the following sectors: building, transport networks, water, gas and oil product supply management, pressure conduits.
