Town Prešov-Engineering and Electornics town

This circuit provides a set of one thematic seminar and two discovery visits in companies which use high technology to develop innovative products in engineering and electronics sector.
The companies of this circuit are located in the town of Prešov, which is a long traditional in these industry sectors.

Company ELCOM was established in 1991. Step by step they developed cash register Euro-2000M, point-of-sale system POS-3000, Euro-20100 cash register. They launched Uniq PC- 15“ resistant touch all-in-one computer suitable mainly for demanding environments and industrial operations, innovative project Genielite for regulation of lighting energy consumption. This project brings up to 90% of energy costs saving in industrial or public lighting in case of fast return on investments.
The new progress is also in the field of computers. They are launching 19“ touch Uniq PC with extended functions and options in comparison to its 15“ predecessor and also 10“ portable tablet. The revolutionary signature tablet Secure Sign for client workplaces with possibility of biometric signature and its evaluation through sophisticated software is also made for the clients.

SPINEA is a modern k engineering company, engaged in development, manufacturing and sales of high-precision reduction gears, which are sold under the trademark TwinSpin. An invention of Slovak engineer was an impulse for the company establishment in 1994. TwinSpin high precision reduction gears are serially manufactured  based on the grant of international patent. High precision reduction gear TwinSpin belongs to a category of HI-tech products and represents unique technical solution integrating radial-axial bearings with high precision reduction gear into a one compact unit.

The products of the company are suitable for applications, which require high reduction-gear ratio, high kinematic precision, zero-backlash motion, high torque capacity, high rigidity, compact design in a limited installation space as well as low weight. They are widely used in an automation and industrial robotics, in the field of machine tools manufacturing, in the navigation and camera equipments, medical systems and in many other fields.

TOMARK s.r.o. started in August 1995. It specializes in the machining, shaping, and cutting of metals and in the manufacture of welded structures and components for the mechanical engineering industry. A wide spectrum of technologies allows us to make products for our demanding customers according to their drawn documentation or according to our design solutions. The dynamic development during its short history proves that the company is able to meet even the most demanding requirements of its clients. In its TomarkAero division, specialised in aviation, the company is involved in the manufacture of the all-metal two-seater microlight sports aircraft Viper SD-4, which is an ideal solution for travel, pilot training and glider towing. The quality is a dominant factor, we therefore pay particular attention to the development, design, and meticulous manufacture of all parts of the plane.

The circuit lasts three days, but it can be extended to five days, in case to visit other tourist-cultural discovery programs of the territory.
