Solar power – photovoltaics – and solar technology

Michael Simon, founder of the company Sunny Solartechnik GmbH, was early on interested in the area of photovoltaic and solar energy. The basic research with electronic semiconductors led him to Constance where he covers fascinating topics like electric vehicles, electric car charging points and grid-tied plants this very day. He decided to found a company in the area of photovoltaics owing to the sponsorship of the Renewable Energy Law. Since then his main project was the energy revolution, particularly in the areas of personal use, economization of energy costs and energy self-sufficiency.

During a tour of the company premises the visitors do not only get to know the special installation of the photovoltaic plants on the roof of the company building, the thermal accumulator for the energy supply of the building and the eco-friendly building technology with pellet heating including heat recovery via ventilating systems, but also the electric vehicles which are used since the company foundation and the electric car charging point which is free of charge for the public.

Visitors do not only get helpful information on the theme of sustainable energy supply of private households and companies, but also on different technologies of energy production and use. During the tour the participants are given suggestions concerning a sustainable energy supply as well as valuable stimuli for the feasibility of regenerative energy forms.
