The evolution of mould manufacturing

The first part of the seminar deals with the issues related to the organizational characteristics, the type of products / services and the target markets of the company. Then the practical aspects of the Quality, Safety and Environment Management Systems are presented. This presentation is in preparation for the following visit to the departments of the company (about 90 minutes).

In the second part the evolution of mould manufacturing carried out by SCM Zanussi is thoroughly illustrated and discussed: it is described the whole manifacturing process, from mould design, to its production and sampling. Thanks to software equipment, state of the art machinery and technological system, the company is able to provide not just the end product but also customer assistance for the management of customer needs in the development of the project in co-design and simultaneous engineering.
