Mobile phone network cells infrastructure

In telecommunications, as part of the cellular networks, the term base station indicates the transceiver subsystem of a radio signal with an antenna transceiver that serves the mobile terminal user covering a specific geographic area that precisely radio cell. It therefore represents the basic infrastructure of the cellular radio links used in cellular radio networks radio interface of the cellular system. Typically called repeater not really "repeated" no signal, but it generates and transmits or receives it in the air.
