Tecnogroup was founded in 1979 with the name O.P.L. automation thanks to an intuition of Renzo Correzzola, who had been selling as business agent for ten years components for the automation industry. In 1979 he became an authorized Bosch dealer of flexible automation systems for the Friuli Venezia Giulia and East-Veneto areas. In 1997 the company changed its name to Tecnogroup to represent better the evolution and mission of its business activities.
In the 90s Tecnogroup opens to the Slovenian market and thanks to the implementation of new products and services, and the constant research of new productive solutions, the company registered significant growth. In particularly the research focused on the adoption of solutions and products based on lean manufacturing principles and methods, in order to support clients in the organization of the business management and production processes.
Currently Tecnogroup continues its path with the support of the members of the second generation of the family Correzzola, by expanding domestic and foreign markets, and by investing in research and innovation.
Tecnogroup has been in the current headquarters since 2004, where there are the company offices, an exhibition area, a laboratory and an automated high bay warehouse.
Over the past ten years the company has expanded the technical office, in order to give the client design services more and more advanced and personalized, and to offer tailored solutions incorporating the latest technologies. At the same special attention has been paid to the management of internal processes through quality certification and full integration of the production chain.
Nowadays Tecnogroup belongs to a synergic group.
LeanProducts srl has been developing and marketing components and solutions for lean production. By the early twenty-first century LeanProducts is dedicated to providing components and solutions for the practical application of the concepts of Lean Thinking. Dynamism and international scope of the company are also visible in its structure and production facilities: a design department for product customization; employment of lean methods for the management and organization of internal processes; full exploitation of a laboratory where products, their manufacturing processes and functioning are tested.
“OPL manipolazione”, with headquarters in Vicenza, is a production unit that provides high-performance systems of linear modules for various types of manipulators and anthropomorphic robots.
OPL d.o.o is a business partner based in Slovenia in charge for the marketing of Tecnogroup products in the countries of former Yugoslavia.
Tecnogroup is a company rooted in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and is actively involved in various projects carried out by local institutions and organizations. It is an associated member of the Mechanical Engineering section of CONFINDUSTRIA, the main organisation representing Italian manufacturing and services companies. It is member and project partner of Polo Tecnologico di Pordenone, and of COMET, the Heating Engineering and Components District. Since 1990 the company has been the main sponsor of a track speed skating club (Skating Club Comina) and of a local football team (ASD Romana).
