Amt für Volkswirtschaft Fürstentum Liechtenstein

The „Office of Economic Affairs“ is part of the Liechtenstein National Administration and employs in the “House of Economy” some 50 people in 6 departments. The range of the functions is very versatile and basically reflects the needs and requirements of the business location Liechtenstein.

The organigram below shows the following departments:

- Economy (incl. occupational safety)
- Unemployment insurance (incl. labour market service)
- Movement of goods and transport
- Legal department (incl. trade mark register, intellectual property rights and consumer  

  protection)
- Technology, innovation and energy (incl. energy promotion agency)
- Location promotion

The Office is complemented by the staff units “Central Services” and “Single Points of Contacts”, “taking the Office customers by the hand” and offering them support, for instance when founding a company. Since 2011, the Office of Economic Affairs is certified according to EFQM and thus underlines high service quality and customer friendliness.
