The nationwide fair trade cooperative dwp eG, seated in Ravensburg, is one of the leading fair trade companies in Germany. The longstanding collaboration with 60 worldwide producer groups in 30 countries, the direct personal contacts and the fair producer prices allow products of very high quality and often unique in its kind. The range includes over 1.000 crafts and about 400 high-quality food products, almost all are of controlled organic quality and often certified by Naturland Fair. The most important groups of food products are coffee, tea, spices, specialities and delicacies.

fair trade of dwp is based on the cooperation with small farmers/producers and promotes a sustainable development for the environment as well as for the society. dwp promotes a continuous fair trade chain from producers to consumers. Also in Germany dwp takes on environmental and social responsibility. dwp was several times rewarded for the cooperation with the BruderhausDIAKONIE, an organization for mentally ill persons. About 50 of these persons are employed in the dwp headquarter. They carry out important tasks such as the filling, packaging and labelling of products. This comprises them with the chance to get access to the job market.

In addition to the daily trading activities dwp is, together with several partners from Europe and overseas, involved in advertising campaigns for human rights and climate protection all around the world.

Almost all the teas as well as more and more products of the remaining range of food are certified by Naturland Fair criteria. dwp offers, as the first supplier in the fair trade sector and of natural food, a wide range of products that fulfil the criteria of Naturland Fair.
