Lima Corporate designs, develops, manufactures and markets joint replacement and repair solutions that include large joint implants for hip and knee and systems for the restoration of the extremities focusing on disorders of the shoulder and traumatic injuries.

The founder of Lima Corporate began manufacturing surgical instruments in 1945. The company later expanded its business to include the production of mechanical components for the aeronautics and automotive industries. Between the 1960’s and 1980’s the core business evolved into the manufacturing of medical devices, specifically titanium orthopaedic prostheses.

In the 1990’s Lima Corporate continued to focus on the medical device market with the specific aim of broadening its presence globally. In the year 2000 this approach led to the decision to specialize exclusively on the production of orthopaedic implants.

Lima Corporate’s product range includes joint implants for hip, knee and extremities, fixation solutions, and biological products for the treatment of degenerative joint diseases.

The core business is fueled by its long-term experience in the field of orthopaedic surgery and its expertise in compatible materials.
