VIDA Eat Different GmbH, located in Konstanz’s Paradies neighborhood, is the city’s first organic food delivery service. The start-up company was founded in 2013 by Maria Cervantes and Torben Götz as a place to serve fast food that is ecologically correct as well as healthy. By now, a couple of great people have joined the team offering a variety of meals which are all prepared with regional, seasonal, fair-trade, organic ingredients. VIDA’s concept is especially suitable for professionals and () students who don’t have a whole lot of time during the day but value wholesome, top-quality food. Additionally, VIDA offers caterings for private and public events. Naturally, the company delivers its products with eco-friendly electric and natural gas vehicles.

The slogan “Eat Different” isn’t just an internal motto. It is simultaneously meant as an appeal to the outside world. VIDA creates innovative, diverse meals to make its customers happy. But sustainability also plays an important part in its philosophy and is incorporated in every step of procedure. Be it ordering supplies, preparing food, or delivering. When ordering, customers can see which ingredients come from the region and which ones are certified fair-trade. VIDA aims at providing maximum transparency so customers can make conscious choices.

Since the demand for healthy food continues to grow, the company plans to grow along. It is considering opening a sit-in restaurant, expanding into other cities and adding items to the menu.
