FLUNCH has been on the market since 1971 and consists of a chain of self-service restaurants which was created and developed in France (with more than 300 restaurants) and is now also in Italy with 9 restaurants. The chain of FLUNCH restaurants is part of Agapes Restauration, a wide European group, and is member of Mulliez corporation represented by important brands, such as Auchan, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, Kiabi, Pimkie and Norauto.
The adventure of FLUNCH restaurants in Italy starts towards the end of 1989, when the first restaurant is inaugurated in the Auchan shopping centre in Turin.
Throughout the years, the Italian clients appreciate more and more the formula proposed by the FLUNCH restaurant, whose name comes from the fusion between the two English words fast and lunch, which have also become part of the French slang.
