The regional Directorate of Labour is an operational structure of the Veneto regional government.
Within the Culture, Education, Labour and Training Area,  the Directorate of Labour  is in charge of programs that cover all aspects of employment policies at regional level:

• Supporting people in entering or returning to the labour market; facilitating labour market integration of jobseekers, with a special focus on disadvantaged workers. Offering  Job creation and qualification measures.
• Helping young people - particularly young people not in employment, education or training (NEET) - entering into the labour market.  Promoting youth guarantees, educational and vocational  guidance; vocational training for young trainees.
• Supporting the transformation processes related to the industrial crisis, helping innovation and re-industrialization.
• Planning: measures tackling early school leaving, vocational and career guidance,  adult vocational training,  actions to implement a system of certification of skills/competences within the European qualifications framework.
• Programming  transnational actions: European projects and networks on education, vocational training and labour;  transnational mobility.
• Supporting  the labour market system: organization of public employment services; registration of private employment services; supervision on the regional instrumental body Veneto Lavoro;  support  for the Regional Gender Adviser.
