Prešov Regional Chamber of Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Prešov Regional Chamber ( SCCI PRC ) is a public entity, which started its new history in 1998. Main tasks of Prešov regional chamber of SCCI is to support and defence the business activities of the members at home and abroad.

One of the activities is to co-operate with chambers of commerce abroad (organization of trade missions, workshops, cooperative and economic meetings, publishing of business offers, searching for business partners, exchange of trade and political documents and other information, etc.).
Important is the mediation and publishing of trade offers and other business information for foreign and domestic businesses. Moreover, it spreads trade and manufacturing contact information from home and abroad; business offers from SCCI subscriber service; contact information about Slovak businesses and their products and services.
In the last years PRC-SCCI was participating in a number of PHARE, Leonardo da Vinci, ESF, Community Initiative EQUAL, INTERREG IIIA, 6-th Framework program and Central Europe Programme, with the aim to strengthen the economic development of the region by increasing the SME competitiveness.

In Leonardo da Vinci frame of Lifelong Learning Programme  Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Presov Regional Chamber is interesting about the offer of Mobility and Partnership projects. The projects are useful for the Chamber's members, SMEs. They can find on labour market free qualified workers passed through some vocational education and traininig. The employers have the opportunity to increase or to change their qualification and to find some work.
