Decathlon store in Settimo Torinese is located in the commercial area "Settimo Cielo", together with other retailing stores. It's the 74th Italian store, covering a commercial area of 4650 sqm by offering a wide range of items to all customers who want to practice sport by sharing the Company's values.
Decathlon mission is, in fact, to make the sport accessible to the greatest number of people with an innovative and pioneering spirit. A Company started its adventure in France in 1976 with 7 employees and 70,000 were employed in 2016 in 80 countries worldwide.
The stores are designed to offer a wide choice of products for 70 different sports at very competitive prices.
Since 1986 the major branded products have been on offer together with Marche Passione Interna  products (Quechua, Btwin, Tribord, Kalenji, etc ...), created, designed and manufactured by Decathlon.
50 researchers participate in the design process and product innovation; they study and analyze the human body in motion in order to design products for athletes by making them available everywhere, including through its online retail site. In 2016 Decathlon therefore celebrated its 40th anniversary; its history has been shaped thanks to its thousands of employees, the protagonists of this great adventure. In the store, the customer is helped in the choice of the products through advice, suggestions and supplementary services, all at the lowest possible price: "our mission is to satisfy the customer."
