STREET FURNITURE’S LEADERS

Metalco, a company internationally known for its production of street furniture and pods, was founded in 1984 by two young entrepreneurs. They started this business with a small production of modular fences, benches, bike racks and litter bins, characterized by innovative design and bold colours.
Over the years, the commercial success in Italy and abroad pushes the company to constant research and experimentation in design, materials and production techniques, helping to expand its growing range of products.
With the start of the new millennium, the market grows and therefore Metalco grows too: between 1999 - 2000 the new HQ and production factory was inaugurated, which consists of 25,000 square metres. In addition to its technical and R&D departments, always engaged in product’s development, there are many prestigious collaborations with architects and designers of international fame.
To date, Metalco boasts the widest range existing in the field of urban and outdoor furniture, known in more than 60 countries around the world.
