Civiform is a vocational training centre that promotes vocational activities co-funded by the regional government and European Social Fund. Our mission is to help young people and adults enter or re-enter the job market and assist employed people in updating their skills. Established in 1955, over the years it has grown considerably and now offers courses for young people wanting to learn a trade, basic training courses for adults, post diploma and post graduate courses, professional development courses and courses for trainees and companies. Civiform pays particular attention to the new forms of poverty, psyco-physical disadvantages and to immigration, with training courses to promote social inclusion of people with special needs. It also creates work experience programmes and works together with businesses to identify funding sources and to design tailor made training programmes. It takes part in many research and training programmes at both national and international level. Our staff consists of over 100 employees and many expert consultants. Facilities include several technical labs for vocational training and boarding facilities that can host up to 180 people.
