Prof. Hilary Koprowski Gdansk Science and Technology Park is undoubtedly a chief asset of its owner − the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone Sp. z o. o.

The GSTP investment was started by the PSEZ in 2006 in cooperation with the Pomeranian Self-Government, the City of Gdansk and the Gdansk University of Technology.

The Park is located in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Gdansk and the largest Pomeranian universities: the Gdansk University of Technology, the Medical Academy in Gdansk and the University of Gdansk.

The GSTP comprises laboratories, office and laboratory spaces, the Data Centre server room, Conference and Training Centre, EduPark, EduKindergarten and a recently established EduNursery. It offers modern office and laboratory spaces, as well as technology and production areas, all well-equipped with ICT infrastructure. There is also a Technology Incubator, providing conditions for the creation and development of new companies established by university graduates and academic staff members. GSTP provides space for prestige institutes of research and science, technology transfer centres, key cluster initiatives and innovative companies. The benefits of being a tenant in the Park were also appreciated by Polpharma S.A.– the largest Polish pharmaceutical company. There are over 80 companies in the Park, all based on innovative ideas. They support the development if the Pomeranian Voivodeship by making it competitive and become the first ones to contribute to the R&D activities of the Polish economy.

GSTP is a centre created to promote entrepreneurship, activity, development and creativity and a place where an idea turns into a real functioning business. It is a platform of cooperation between science and business, supported by the Pomeranian Self-Government, the City of Gdansk and the Gdansk University of Technology.
