Hayatboyu Öğrenme Akademisi Derneği

Hayatboyu Öğrenme Akademisi (Lifelong Learning Academy) was founded in Konya, Turkey by 16 people including University Professors, Lecturers, Representatives of Konya Chamber of Commerce, Representatives of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Representatives of Konya Provincial Directorate of National Education, Educationist, Private Education Providers, Adult Education Providers, Language Education Providers.

This association has been established to do educational and social-oriented research, development, implementation and dissemination activities to equip individuals and the community with necessary knowledge, skills and competences through active participation in lifelong learning process at national or international levels.

Activities carried out by the association to reach purposes are;

To carry out activities encouraging lifelong learning,
To help improve education at every level formal, informal and vocational education in terms of quality and quantity,
To increase the students’ participation in education by preventing early school leaving,
To ensure socio-economically disadvantaged groups to be involved in the process of education and training,
To develop methods, strategies and approaches that can improve the motivation of at-risk students,
To work to improve the accessibility of higher education,
To increase the participation of adults in lifelong learning,
To develop inclusive approaches to meet the needs of all students,
To develop guidance activities for students
To ensure the development of language learning and literacy at an early age,
To ensure the development of basic skills such as reading, writing, mathematics and science at all levels of education,
To ensure the development of new skills and competencies such as media literacy, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship at all levels of education.
