Allgäu GmbH

The Allgäu GmbH bundles the development and marketing of tourism and business location as well as the brand Allgäu centrally under one roof. The partners are the Tourism Allgäu / Bavarian-Swabia and the Allgäu regional and Investitionsges.mbH and private shareholders - mainly in the field of tourism. The main body of the society is founded on 01.01.2011. Supervisory board chairman is Oberallgäuer District Director Gebhard Kaiser. The managing directors are Bernhard Joachim and Klaus Fischer. The Allgäu GmbH has its headquarters in Kempten and has around 20 employees who perform a variety of tasks in the development and marketing of tourism and the location Allgäu.
The company itself will take care of the tourism and site management Allgäu and take over the marketing for all areas and the management of the brand  Allgäu. The aim is furthermore to achieve close cooperation with other actors and groups such as the Regional Planning Association, the Euregio Via Salina and the Leader groups. The main tasks of the Allgäu GmbH can thus be divided into three parts:
