GIOVANARDI SPA

Giovanardi was born in Milan in 1919 as a small firm of stamps, plates and inks before specializing in manufacture of enameled iron.
In the 30s and 40s with the spread of radio, it has started production of radio scales on celluloid bases before and after taking crystal. Later, in the 50s, it has expanded its production of plates and dials license developing all the related processes: blanking, electroplating, painting, screen printing and lithography serving for three decades historical Italian industry societies such as Fiat, Olivetti, Breda, Piaggio, Veglia Borletti, Magneti Marelli. In the 60s, following the boom of the appliances they were added clients such as Zanussi, Indesit, Candy and the Santo Stefano for scales industry, Berkel and Toledo. In the 70s the spread of the TVs allowed to Giovanardi provides Telefunken, Philco, Mivar, Brionvega and Philips creating for them the controls in aluminum.
In the 80s the advent of electronics has pushed the company to diversify its operations starting to realize displays, window signs and promotional items. The P.O.P. market, or the material for communication at the sales point, has had a continuous evolution in the following years and elements as exhibitors, totems, corner, shop in shop, packaging have become increasingly sophisticated: Armani, BMW, Bticino, Bulgari, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Pirelli, Luxottica, Safilo, Kering are among the customers that Giovanardi includes in its portfolio.
In 2000 it was born Giovanardi Alliance, according to three Brianza’s companies specialized in metal, methacrylate and wood, which provides synergies, common policies and a single mission in order to provide rapid technical solutions to the demands of the industry.
Today Giovanardi is a joint stock company, based in Concorezzo (MB), located in Paris and HK, with 70 employees, a turnover of EUR 16 million and a registered capital of EUR 1,000,000.
