IBERDROLA S.A. It is a Spanish company that is based in  Bilbao. It is a business group dedicated to the production, distribution and marketing energy, especially electricity.

It was born from the merger in 1992 of two Spanish electricity companies, Hydroelectric Spanish and Iberduero, both from the beginnings of electrification in Spain. Currently, it operates in 40 countries with 30,680 employees and counting serving 32.26 million customers worldwide.

IBERDROLA is one of the largest electric utilities worldwide, is the second group of electricity production in Spain and the first Spanish energy group by market capitalization.
