Project Automation is the name taken by Philips Automation in April 1999.
The latter, formed in 1987, has taken over the activities of the sectors Ecology, Industrial Automation and Civil Division of the Industrial & Electroacoustic Systems Business Unit and later the "mobility" of the Philips group.
Today Project Automation is a leading company in the "Engineering telemetry systems, supervision and control" applied to markets Environment, Mobility and Civil Automation, Transport and Public Utilities systems.
The Company conducts integration activities of electronic and communication technologies, with particular attention to aspects of technological innovation, necessary for the realization of systems and complex equipment.

Project Automation has a Quality Management System certified according to ISO 9001: 2008 (Quality), BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 (occupational health and safety), ISO 14001: 2004 (environmental quality), SA8000: 2008 (social responsibility) activities of Engineering of the supervisory and control systems, communication systems and ICT systems: design, execution, installation, maintenance, technical support and outsourcing services; management of paid parking with the auxiliary stop.

The Company has an organization dedicated to Research and Development with its own laboratory for the development and testing of solutions and maintains cooperation agreements with various research institutes / universities and numerous Partners and Suppliers.
