Piero Pittaro comes from a family of winemakers with 4 centuries of history. The company was founded in 1970 and 85 of the current 90 hectares of vineyard are located in the heart of the sunny plain of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region and the remaining 5 on the beautiful hills of Ramandolo (eastern hills of Friuli). The company has three production units: first of all the historic cellar of Codroipo, with an unmistakable aspect and modernly equipped, and enriched by a precious wine museum that consists of three different sections: Glass Collection, Glass Wine Collection and Arts and Crafts of Wine. The second, also in Codroipo, is devoted exclusively to the elaboration and refinement of the sparkling wine "Metodo Classico" (Classic Method) - one of the main products of the company. The third, located in Tarcento, is finally focused on the production of the line "Ronco Vieri".
